St Patrick’s Day is possibly the only national saints day that is celebrated so religiously in other countries. From ‘The Dublin Irish pub’ in Ulaanbataar Mongolia to the ‘Tir Na Nog’ Irish pub in Indonesia, the Irish culture has spread across the globe and is so beloved because of its inclusive nature. The idea that everyone is welcome to join in and be a part of the ‘craic’ (an Irish word for fun and good times).
It is that same friendly spirit that is found at Paddy’s Marten Inn. Our name may sound Irish, but we’re an authentic Indian restaurant set in an old English pub, serving the finest curries found anywhere in Leicester!
With our diverse background, we like to keep that friendly Celtic spirit, for a start we’re a family run business, serving traditional Indian cuisine and delicious Thali’s. Our mum cooks up dishes made with recipes handed down from generations. We have an unrivalled variety of meals and exceptionally extensive vegetarian menu, so everyone is sure to find something they like.
We’re not just about the food here at Paddy’s Marten Inn (although it is the star of the show) we are a relaxed and welcoming place, where you can, enjoy a local ale and tuck into Leicester’s finest curries.
So why not pop down to us on St Patricks day, and raise a glass in his honour. What better place to celebrate St Patrick’s, than at Paddy’s Marten Inn.
